War comes first
Then there is taxation
Women, children, families
All innocent
When the war finally ends...
You pay
But only the price($)
Reflection
This poem that I wrote is about wars overall(American Revolution, Civil War, French and Indian War etc.) After the wars ended something BIG happened. Families were forced to pay taxes, and the cost of everything went up. When Ms.Sackstein taught about the wars to us one word stuck to my head, TAXATION. To make a long story short... Taxation was horrible, and people at the end couldn't afford anything.
